The stretch satin really hugs your curves in all the right places without feeling restrictive like some mermaid dresses do. I got so many compliments on the ruffle bow design all night long. The only thing I will say is that if you're taller than five foot eight, you might want to double-check the length. I'm exactly five-six and with small heels it barely brushed the floor. Overall, a solid purchase and I felt beautiful wearing it.
