This dress was my pick for my university's grad formal, and it did not disappoint. I wanted something sexy but classy, and the strapless cut combined with the leg slit nailed it. I danced for hours, and the dress stayed comfortable the whole time. It’s lightweight enough that you don’t overheat on the dance floor, but heavy enough to hang nicely. I think if you have a larger bust, you might want to use some fashion tape just to be safe, but for me, it was fine. I’m actually planning to dye it a different colour later so I can wear it again to another event.

I wore this gown to a wedding, and it was just right for the setting. It felt breezy enough for an outdoor ceremony but formal enough for the reception dinner. The slit helped with airflow, so I didn't get too hot. I did notice a loose thread near the hem, but I just snipped it off, and it was fine. It’s one of those dresses that makes you feel put together instantly. I’m thinking about getting it in another colour for a cruise I have coming up next summer because it packs relatively flat in a suitcase.

Okay, so I bought this for my sorority formal, and it was a total hit. All my sisters were asking where I got it. The colour is vibrant and didn't fade after I got it dry-cleaned, which is a huge plus. It’s super simple, which I love because I could go crazy with my jewellery and makeup. The length was perfect for me with three-inch heels. The only thing is that the fabric doesn't have much stretch, so make sure you measure yourself accurately before buying. Other than that, it’s an awesome dress for a night out dancing and having fun with friends.

I picked this up for my best friend's engagement party since the theme was "Hollywood Glam," and this dress fit the vibe perfectly. The slit is for sure the highlight; it makes your legs look miles long when you pair it with heels. I felt super confident walking into the room. My only small complaint is that the zipper was a little bit sticky right at the top, but once it was zipped, it was totally fine. It’s really comfortable to move around in, unlike some stiff formal wear I’ve owned. For the price point, you really can't beat the style. It looks way more expensive than it actually is.

Picked this up for a New Year's Eve bash downtown. I wanted something that would stand out in photos, and this dress definitely delivered. The way the skirt moves is really pretty. I paired it with a faux fur shawl since it was freezing out, and it looked so chic. The only reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is that it arrived with a few wrinkles that took a while to steam out. But once it was prepped, it looked flawless. It’s a great versatile piece to have in your closet for those random fancy invites that pop up throughout the year.
