The satin has a nice sheen to it that isn't too shiny or cheap looking. I really appreciated that I could wear a regular strapless bra with it without anything showing.

The color is exactly as shown in the picture, a really deep, rich shade that photographs beautifully. It definitely hugs your curves, so if you want a looser fit, maybe size up, but the material has enough stretch that it doesn't feel suffocating.

The pleating around the waist is really flattering too, hiding the tummy area perfectly.
