Such a flattering dress for a formal evening reception. I carry a bit of weight around my midsection and was nervous about the satin clinging, but the way it falls is actually really forgiving. The ankle length is great because you can actually show off your shoes. I felt very confident walking around and chatting with guests. It did get a little warm by the end of the night on the dance floor, but nothing unbearable.

Wore this as a bridesmaid for a spring garden wedding. The dress is really lovely and the rhinestones add just enough sparkle without being tacky. I will say the colour was just a tiny bit darker than it looked on my phone screen, but it still matched the wedding palette fine. The off-shoulder sleeves are cute but they do limit your arm mobility a little bit. I couldn't raise my arms super high to catch the bouquet, but it was fine for eating and mingling.
