Traditional enough for our church ceremony but modern enough to feel like me. The v-neck cut is tasteful. I was worried the tulle would be scratchy but it is actually pretty soft. My mom cried when she saw me in it which is exactly the reaction I wanted. Just be careful around sharp jewelry because the delicate lace caught on my bracelet a couple of times.

We did a super casual backyard barbecue for our wedding but I still wanted to wear a real gown. This was the perfect balance. It is a stunning dress but not so massive that I felt out of place eating ribs on a picnic table. The lace is so delicate and feminine. If you have a larger chest like me you might need some boob tape since the back makes a bra tough but otherwise it is wonderful.
