I checked the seams really carefully when I got it, since sequin clothes can sometimes be poorly made. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stitching. The zipper is sturdy, and the detachable satin skirt fastens very securely. It held up perfectly through a whole night of walking and sitting.

I really appreciate the detachable feature. I wore the full look with the skirt for the formal dinner, and then took it off to just rock the sequin pantsuit for the afterparty. It's basically two outfits in one. Super fun and practical.
