The V-neck is super flattering without being too revealing, and the long sleeves kept me warm enough that I didn't even need a jacket. It looks way more expensive than it actually is. I'm seriously thinking about grabbing it in another colour!

Also, the ruffle detail didn't lay as flat as it does in the pictures; I had to steam it for ages to get it looking right. It’s a decent dress if you have time to get it tailored, but don't expect it to be perfect right out of the package.

I wanted something a bit different for a date night at this fancy restaurant downtown, so I gave this a shot. The acetate satin material is shiny, maybe a little shinier than I was hoping for, but it looks elegant enough in dim lighting. My main issue was the zipper. It felt really fragile, and I was terrified it was going to bust open the whole time I was getting ready. The A-line shape is pretty forgiving if you’ve had a big dinner, which is a plus. It’s an alright dress for the price point, I guess. It did the job for one night, but I don't know if I’d reach for it again unless I get the zipper replaced. It’s just average quality.
