There were a few things I felt were absolute musts for the dress I wore. It needed to cover the dreaded underarm flab. It had to be lightweight so I wouldn't overheat while dancing, and it needed to hide sweat from all that dancing. I wanted it gathered on the side since that style goes a long way in making me look slimmer. It's also a huge help for hiding the bloat from wedding food. I like a simple, elegant, understated style, and that can be a tough find all on its own. I eyed this one for months but the glitter held me back. But I couldn't find anything when I went out to the mall. Nothing came closer to what I wanted. So I ordered it with a lot of unknowns. I didn't know how heavy it was, how the sleeves would lay, or if it would even be comfortable. I couldn't believe it, it nailed every single picky requirement. Not only was it lightweight, it was also stretchy and super comfy! I never imagined I wouldn't have to settle. It was everything I hoped it'd be! I danced pretty much all night while staying nice and cool. I got so many compliments. I'm really hoping for another event to wear it to. I might just pull a Miss Havisham and wear it every day. Then when I'm old, be buried in it. Just kidding. Okay, maybe I'm not, but that would make me a bit crazy. Maybe I already am. But let's not be judgy.
