I was worried the satin would show every little flaw, but the fabric actually has a nice weight to it and drapes beautifully. I wore it for the whole reception and never felt the need to loosen it. The lace embroidery on the sleeves is the detail that really makes a difference.

I usually have a hard time with sleeves being too tight, but these short sleeves have just enough room. The V-neck isn't too deep, perfect for a mother of the bride. It did arrive with a weird smell, but airing it out on the porch for a day cleared it right up. Very flattering silhouette overall.
