I was looking for something modest but still cute for a work holiday party, and this green satin dress was perfect. The V-neck isn't too deep, so I felt totally appropriate around my boss, but the cut is still flattering enough that I felt pretty. It hits right at the ankle for me (I'm 5'6"), which meant I didn't have to get it hemmed—huge bonus. The fabric has this nice sheen to it under the lights. It did arrive with a few wrinkles, but a quick steam fixed that right up. I’ll probably wear this to church events too.

So, I took a chance on this dress for my engagement photos because I wanted that elegant, flowing look without spending hundreds of dollars. I am so glad I did. The way the skirt moves when you walk is just beautiful. The stretchy satin material is forgiving, so it hugged my waist nicely but didn't cling to my hips. It was a little chilly during our shoot, and having those long sleeves was a lifesaver. The colour is exactly like the picture online. If you're on the fence, just go for it, it photographs really well.

Okay, can we talk about how comfortable this dress is? I wore it to a dinner date that turned into a long walk downtown, and I wasn't dying to take it off by the end of the night. The satin is super soft against the skin, not scratchy at all. I love that it covers my arms but the V-neck shows just enough skin to keep it from looking like a grandma dress. The zipper in the back was a little stiff at first, but after zipping it up and down a few times, it worked perfectly. Such a great find.

I was worried the satin might show sweat stains since it was a warm evening, but the fabric held up really well and breathed way better than I expected. It’s got a nice weight to it that makes it drape beautifully.

I grabbed this dress for a New Year's Eve party because I wanted something that wasn't covered in sequins for a change. The satin gives it a nice festive shine without being over the top. I was able to dance all night because the skirt is super flowy and lets you move around easily. It’s also surprisingly warm for a satin dress. My only small complaint is that the neckline shifted a bit when I leaned forward, so I used a little fashion tape just to be safe. Aside from that, it was a total hit with my friends.
